1974 Volkswagen T2 Camper. Factory Right Hand Drive. Leuchtorange, Brilliant Orange with tan upholstery. Where do we start with this amazing T2. It was subject to a restoration that was completed in 2024 and cost in excess of £105,000. Yes you read that right £105,000. A no expense spared rebuild was undertaken and we have to say the finished article is absolutely amazing. The van was entrusted to Border Restoration Ltd of Shrewsbury who undertook the restoration and produced this fantastic van that you see today. Everything is of the highest quality and the attention to detail is second to none. Now fitted with power steering, a Space Westfalia style pop top, side awning, high spec Kustom Interiors cabinets and appliances and a beautiful Sam Trigg of Kenspeed upholstery of Cornwall. TSR Engineering (Suffolk) fitted a fresh Subaru 2.0 SOHC Legacy engine producing 130 BHP, they also fitted a custom-built freeway flier Gearbox, Lite-Steer power steering, 3 speed heater unit, front and rear brake upgrade with servo, drive shafts, Scooby surgery lowered Sump and engine brace bar, Stainless Steel Exhaust System, heavy duty front and rear antiroll bars, custom shock absorbers and Hi Toque Starter motor. There really is too much to list but in summary it is fully specced with a three quarter rock and roll bed, 2 gas ring hob, sink, fridge, leisure battery with 240V hook up. Plug sockets. USB plug ins. SSP 5 spoke wheels from Heritage. Pioneer screen out stereo with reversing camera plus lots more with have forgotten to mention. Accompanying the Camper is a large history file containing a large photo album showing the restoration as well as a print out showing the total spend with all parts and suppliers listed. In summary if you are looking for the ultimate camper then this is well worth a look at less than half it cost to build. It is also fitted out with lots of accessories for you to get straight out and enjoy including pots, pans, cups and glasses. New quality bedding all still packaged, cutlery, European travel set, dining table, camping stove and so much more.
