The most significant changes were an external facelift which saw the return to the classic round 911 headlights, an internal re-styling and upgrading of materials and trim, and increased engine power. , The ‘S’ variant featured an engine size increase from 3.6 to 3.8 litres upping power to 355bhp along with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) suspension. Wheel size was upped to 19inches which accommodated upgraded brakes from the 911 turbo. Bi-Xenon headlights were also fitted to the model as standard. , The Basalt Black bodywork on this example presents beautifully with just some minor age related stone chipping as expected and is set off perfectly by the superb 19’’ Carrera Classic 5 spoke alloy wheels. This Carrera 4S is fitted with their ‘Tradition RS Aero’ package for the wide-body 997 and comprises of a Lower Front Spoiler, Side Skirts, Rear Lower Diffuser and Ducktail Spoiler.
