We have spoken the company who undertook the restoration and this car from them today costs close to £30k. , In the office we have the build sheets for the work undertaken along with the receipt for nearly £14k from 2004 confirming the work that was done. Since arriving with us the car has undergone an extensive cleaning process that includes professional paint polishing and an in depth interior clean, the results are evident in the pictures. The interior being trimmed in the soft Grey leather really helps set it apart and looks incredibly good when you open the doors. , Under the bonnet presents equally as good as the exterior. Engine wise the 1798cc 4 cylinder petrol engine shows to have done just over 97k and is paired to four speed manual gearbox that features Overdrive to 3rd and 4th gears which helps to reduce the revs and improve the fuel consumption. The engine is running on unleaded and starts on the first turn of the key, a quick check of the gauges shows the car has great oil pressure both when cold and at normal operating temperature. We have given the car a good run now and can confirm it drives perfectly. The history file for the car contains a good selection of service and other invoices relating to work over the years along with MOT tests back as far as 2003. The GT is one of those popular classics that offers 2+2 seating and features styling from Pininfarina.
