With us now at RFH Classics we are delighted to offer this truly stunning 1975 (N) MGB Roadster finished in the ever popular Damask Red complete with the period correct Weave style Black interior trim. This particular car represents one of the last of the desirable chrome bumper models and has just completed a full, professional nut and bolt restoration carried out locally by a highly regarded restoration specialist. , Originally purchased in 1987 by the previous owner, this MGB has had just five owners from new and has now been restored to a standard that can only be described as exceptional. The restoration included a complete bare metal strip down, with the necessary corrective panel work undertaken before being refinished to the high standard in its factory colour of Damask Red. All brightwork has been replaced with new chrome components and the car is now fitted with a new Mohair style soft top featuring a zip-down rear window. , To maintain authenticity, the original Rostyle wheels were stripped and powder coated ensuring the car has the correct period appearance while perfectly complementing the gleaming exterior finish. The underside is presented to the same superb standard as the top, showing the level of detail achieved throughout this build and now features a very welcome rear shock absorber adjustable upgrade. , Inside with the car retaining its traditional Weave style interior trim new carpets and trim kit have been installed to factory specification. The boot area has been detailed to match being painted to an exceptional standard and featuring a partially carpeted finish that completes the presentation when you open the lid. , Lifting the bonnet reveals an engine bay that is simply immaculate, housing a new Ivor Searle unleaded engine which will deliver excellent oil pressure both hot and cold. There has been an upgraded Weber carburettor which was fitted a number of years ago that was reinstalled and offers a distinctive note and smooth performance through the gears. The car drives through a 4 speed manual gearbox with Overdrive operating on 3rd and 4th gears, providing relaxed and enjoyable motoring on longer runs. , In the office we have an enormous history file that at accompanies the car and provides an invaluable insight into the cars diligent former owners who have retained extensive old mot tests and service receipts. The file also contains extensive photographs of the vehicle over the years including previous owners restorations and event attendances.
