Inside the vehicle it features the sought after early metal dashboard with matte black 'wrinkle' finish with as new black trim.This special MGB Roadster has had just 4 owners from new and has come from a small private collection, and thus has been well kept and maintained whilst only being used sparingly as supported by the little mileage done since its full nuts and bolts restoration and presents in a wonderful condition throughout, this is shown by the magnificent chrome work, paintwork and panel fitment.The supplied Heritage certificate confirms this is a home market vehicle supplied in its original factory colours, and supplied by University Motors Ltd, specified with wire wheels, Dunlop radial tyres, heater and folding hood. Dispatched on 18th September 1968, commission No: G23/010599-F.The restoration of the vehicle was commissioned by a longstanding member of the MG Owners Club, who used the club to source all necessary parts and specialists. The car drives superbly, the engine has been fully rebuilt and upgraded to a 1950cc ''Fast Road Specification, giving a much improved performance, along side the gearbox and overdrive by Carlow engineering in 2008 before being fully balanced, this is a culmination of a restoration that began in 1994 when a new heritage shell that was sourced from Moss.
