Hello and welcome to the sale of this beautiful Jaguar XJ. , I really cannot stress or explain enough here exactly how nice this car is, but I will try!, , Previously supplied by ourselves to the current mature owner around 5 years ago, it is reluctantly available now only due to them now downsizing their property and garage for their later years. , We are extremely pleased to have it back, and to be honest it is in even better condition than when it left, thanks to the diligent owner keeping well on top of annual servicing and maintenance. With a genuine and documented 66k miles only on the clock, it has a large history file with receipts, invoices, a stamped up service book, original book pack, manuals, sales brochure and 2 keys. The cherished registration number S111 XJB (series 3 XJ8), is also included in the sale but can be removed if you would prefer an age related number on it. , The stunning exterior is finished in Seafrost; in my opinion the best colour available on these cars. It looks classy, elegant and fresh. The paintwork is in superb condition for the age and retains a deep shine, with no dings, dents or scrapes. There is no rust the sills, wings, arches or screen surrounds as often associated with this model. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition and well shod with premium tyres. All the chrome is also lovely as is all the glass and the rubbers. The underside is in equally clean and solid condition, with any repairs attended to immediately. , , The gorgeous light oatmeal leather interior is in fantastic condition, with minimal wear. It has clearly never been dirty in there, it is exceptionally clean, dry and free from odours, apart from the smell of leather of course! All the wood is in great order, and extends to the gear knob and steering wheel which is a lovely touch and quite a hard to find option. It also retains the factory carpet mats. Everything appears to work well, including the ice cold air conditioning. It has a good radio with CD changer in the boot and working electric aerial. The headlining is also a known culprit for sagging on these cars- this one has been replaced and remains as new. , The 3.2 V8 engine is quiet, smooth and powerful. It starts first turn of the key, and shifts beautifully through the automatic gearbox. On the road it performs exactly as it should, providing swift yet effortless progress with balanced handling and a supple ride with no knocks or bangs. , To sum up, this is a particularly attractive example of this iconic British executive saloon, with low mileage, great history and in the best possible condition.
