1965 Jaguar S Type 3.8 Manual / Overdrive. Cream with Red leather upholstery. This outstanding S-Type was totally restored some years ago with a reputed £80,000 having been spent on the car by a previous owner. Since that time it has been maintained regardless with a huge folder of invoices from various specialists including J D Classics, also included is a large amount of old mot certificates and a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate showing that the car was dispatched on 11th May 1965 to Henlys of London. Still in beautiful condition today the S Type performs just as you would expect a car of this quality to, starting on the button with strong oil pressure, a willing engine and a smooth gearbox with operating overdrive, the uprated Coopercraft brakes making sure it stops as well as it goes. A regular attendee to various concours events over the years and being awarded 2nd place at the Jaguar Drivers Club Concours DElegance with the certificate on file. Most recently the Jaguar has been chauffeuring VIP customers on executive outings and is now only available due to a change of circumstances.
