We are Delighted to have this very rare 2007 57 Jaguar S-Type R 4.2 Supercharged V8 Saloon X200. , This beautiful example is finished in metallic Lunar Grey with Two tone Warm charcoal over Dove leather interior & Aluminium trims. , Supplied new on the 31st October 2007 from Jaguar stratstone Cardiff to a local lottery winner it was kept in his ownership until very recently having always been serviced at Jaguar Stratstone / now Sinclair even being MOTd there for the majority of years and has covered a very low 44000 miles from new. , Specification of this S Type R includes:, -ULEZ Compliant, -Warm Charcoal/Dove Leather R embossed, -Aluminium Trim, -19 inch Barcelona Wheels by BBS, -Front / Rear Park Aid, -Satellite Navigation, -Heated Seats, -Cruise Control, -Driver Memory Pack, -Auto Bi-Xenon Lights, -Dual Zone Climate Control, -Rear Boot Spoiler, -Jaguar Over Carpets, -2 Keys, -Space Saver Spare, -Owners Pack / Manuals, etc, , the S-Type R has all the hallmarks of a proper four-door bruiser. Behind that divisive oval grille (Ill get onto that in a bit) is a burbling 4.2-litre V8 with an Eaton supercharger strapped to it, delivering an XJR-matching 400hp and 399lb ft of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF auto. So fast was the R that it could hit 62mph from a standstill in 5.3 seconds and had to be electronically limited to 155mph - just like the German big guns. , This is normally where comparisons between a Jaguar and its Bavarian brethren would end, but not so the S-Type R. Not only did it get the obligatory brake upgrade, stickier tyres and adaptive dampers, but reviewers at the time were full of praise of the Rs ability to deal with corners without completely losing the plot. , With just 1,274 S-Type Rs sold in the UK, this rare and well-maintained example is a testament to Jaguars engineering prowess. , So forget the Germans and buy the scarce British Brute in a suit!
