Finished in Champagne Gold Metallic with contrasting Brown cloth interior A355 GFR was first registered on 01-08-1983 by PYE MOTORS LTD of Lancaster to Lancastrian Cash Registers of Blackpool. The car to date has had only 5 owners in total. The car has been subject to a 2 year restoration with it being finished in March 2020. Looking at the invoices and accompanying letter the car was lovingly restored with a complete strip down including interior, engine out and wiring removed. The underside of the car has been cleaned, chassis legs cavity wax oyled and then undersealed. All corrosion of panels was removed and either replaced with new panels or new steel stitched in. The vehicle was then re painted in its original Champagne Gold Metallic. Whilst out the engine was completely stripped and re bored to 94mm with new pistons, rings and shells. A new Webber carburettor was also fitted along with a 9'' chrome air filter housing. The result speaks for itself, a lovely looking and driving Granada Ghia Automatic. The interior of the car is all complete and original apart from an upgraded Pioneer radio cassette. Looking at the driver's door card and front seat it appears at some stage the owner was a smoker, with several small cigarette burns to the door card and one on the seat, I think this all adds to its character. Running and driving very well, this is a very useable classic car that has acres of space. Viewing is highly recommended.
