We are very excited to offer this Stunning Renault 5 GT Turbo with low miles and in impeccable condition. Introduced in 1985 and facelifted in 1987, the Turbo was a full fat hot hatch to take on the Golf Gti and Pug 205 Gti of its era. This is a phase two car finished in Noir (Black code 694). It came with 120bhp, improved suspension and ignition - plus the famous decals and yellow front fogs. It is more 1980s than Limahl's hairdo! This car is one of the few remaining uncrashed and unmodified examples left in the UK. It was supplied new by Chantry Garage in Bishops Stortford - a Renault Main Dealer, on 1st August 1989 - and latterly as an approved car by Garwoods Renault. The bodywork, trims and wheels are near immaculate as is the fabulous interior. Very hard to find! It starts and drives beautifully - I took it for a 50 miles A-B dash the other day and it was faultless, leaving me with a huge grin! It has a working period toad alarm and immobiler. All tyres are recent and it had a full service a few hundred miles ago. It retains its 'Garwoods' Renault Number plates plus 'Garwoods' rear window sticker.
